INDUSTRY BADGES – WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS YET – Please Stay Tuned
Complimentary and Discounted Industry Badges are available for Preregistered Members only. There will NOT be At-Con Industry Badges granted during the convention.
Please apply for a Complimentary Industry Badge if you feel you qualify under ALL the following criteria:
1) If you currently work in the CREATIVE DEPARTMENTS (Artist, Development, Musician, Performer, etc.) with a major company that is in production, licensing, post-production, or distribution within the anime, manga, or entertainment industry OR if you are an Executive at a Corporate Level with a major company within the anime, manga, or entertainment industry.
2) You have a business card with your name, company name, and contact information on it or a recent company pay-stub.
3) You are 18 years or older by the date of the convention.
4) You will need to present a valid photo ID and your business card/pay stub when picking up your Badge once approved.
5) Please fill out the following application: COMPLIMENTARY INDUSTRY BADGE.
If you currently work in a retail (Sales, Store Manager, etc.) or administrative (Office Assistant, Support, IT, Accounting, etc.) position in a major company that is in production, licensing, post-production, or distribution within the anime, manga, or entertainment industry, you may apply for a Discounted Industry 3-Day Badge of $40. Please fill out the following application: DISCOUNTED INDUSTRY BADGE.
PRESS BADGES
Complimentary and Discounted Press Badges are available for Preregistered Members only. There will NOT be At-Con Press Badges granted during the convention.
Please apply for a Complimentary Press Badge if you feel you qualify under ALL the following criteria:
1) If you currently work in the PUBLICATION DEPARTMENTS (Reporter, Writer, Blogger, Photographer, Videographer, Editor, etc.) with a major media company that is in print publication, radio, television/cable, newscast, or online publication with a minimum of 10,000 unique hits per month.
2) You have a business card with your name, company name, and contact information on it or a recent company pay-stub.
3) You are 18 years or older by the date of the convention.
4) You will need to present a valid photo ID and your business card/pay stub when picking up your Badge once approved.
5) Please fill out the following application: COMPLIMENTARY PRESS BADGE.
Writers/Reporters/Photographers/Videographers from high school and university level publications are encouraged to apply
1) Please provide a letter from your advisor/editor-in-chief on official school letterhead stating your coverage of ANIMEGACON.
2) If you are under 18 years old, you will need a chaperone over the age of 18 to pick up your Badge and accompany you (Please note that we will not issue a Press Badge for the chaperone and he/she will need to register as a member through the general registration)
3) Please fill out the following application: COMPLIMENTARY SCHOOL PRESS BADGE.

ANIMEGACON reserves the right to approve or deny Industry and Press Badges at its sole discretion. All applications must be received by May 31, 2013. Please allow up to 10 business days for approval.
